Something fishy

Today we went to the Georgia Aquarium! It is the only aquarium in the world that holds Whale Sharks, which is neither whale nor shark. We had a good time there and enjoyed the exhibits. They had a good variety of odd creatures like the whale sharks, albino alligators, manta rays, sawtooth shark, garden eels, and electric eels. We also got to pet the hammerheads in the touch pool, that was fun.

Hammerhead!

These were the electric eels, they looked pretty gross.

  1. WHOA!! I gotta get to there! That place looks awesome:) Good pictures too! THat poor little albino aligator though, its a good thing he's in captivity with regular meals or he'd never be able to catch his dinner. I wonder if they get sunburned? SOOOoo then what is a whale shark, if its niether of those, and how big IS it??
