From Waffles to Mosquitoes and Sunsets

We went to breakfast with Brenna Thursday morning at the Original Waffle Shop, it was so tasty.

I had a waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Then we had to say goodbye to Brenna so she could go to work and we hit the road again. It was really good to see her.

We had sandwiches for lunch at a rest stop. As we neared Sandusky, OH, we hit road construction and had to wait.

We made it to our campground and got set up. The campsite itself was pretty nice with trees and grass and the place was fairly empty, but the bathrooms needed to be cleaned. After going to the grocery store and having dinner, we decided to go for a walk down the road.

There were a lot of cornfields and a pretty sunset.

We found Lake Erie.

The clouds as we were walking back were crazy! As were the mosquitoes, they came out and were swarming as we quickly made our way back to camp and bug spray.
